• The condenser can be removed to increase WD (178), allowing multilayered culture flasks

For AI.1xxx and AI.3xxx models

• Condenser N.A. 0.30 with iris diaphragm. WD* 75 mm, without condenser: 187 mm

 For AI.4xxx models

• Height adjustable Kohler condenser N.A. 0.30 with iris diaphragm and 3 filter holders and shutter function.
• Mounted on a backwards tilting illumination column allowing easy access to samples and placement multilayered culture flasks, without removing the condenser

Rotating fluorescence filter wheel
Fluorescence models are supplied with 3 cubes with fluorescence filters for Blue, Green and UV excitation

SMART LIGHT CONTROL
This intelligent function:

• memorizes the light intensity level for each objective
• increases comfort
• saves valuable time during routine magnification shifts
• includes a sleep function

The innovative NeoLED™ design is a combination of a custom LED and a specially designed thin lens with a short focal length

Four main benefits:

• More oblique light from the NeoLED™ light source, which increases the light output significantly
• Less energy is required to achieve this level of light intensity
• The larger aperture of NeoLED™ allows the optical system of the microscope to produce images at higher resolutions, very close to the theoretical diffraction limit of the optics
